Description
David Bowie
University of Wisconsin, Madison WI 1974-10-10 Audience Disc 1-Lineage: Silver CD--> Traders Little Helper-->Flac(level. Disc 2-Lineage: Silver CD-->Wavelab 5-->Traders Little Helper-->Flac(level. Disc 1 is a direct rip from the silver CD "David Bowie 1974". Disc 2 has been processed through Wavelab with some sound level adjustments, slight EQ and some denoising. Some people prefer no mastering, but when hiss becomes a lead instrument, it can be quite annoying. So without starting a huge argument, I have posted both versions. Keep what you like. This show is of decent quality. Not as good as the wonderful Joe Maloney recording in Boston, but since there are only a handfull of recordings from the "Soul Tour" its worth getting. Some confliction with the date. The remastered version of "David Live" lists Bowie playing at the Dane County Wisconsin Memorial Colliseum on October 11th, with no mention of Madison on the 10th.
